Bradford meet and greet slated in Cairo

A meet and greet event with Dr. Peggy Bradford is planned Friday evening, Aug. 18, in Cairo.

Bradford is the new president of Shawnee Community College. 

She is a native of Pulaski County.

The meet and greet event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at The Jones Place at 2044 Martin Luther King Dr. 

The Aug. 18 event is being sponsored by the Alexander/Pulaski NAACP. 

The community is invited to come to the event and to welcome Bradford back to the area.
