Blessing of the Bikes planned at Bald Knob

The annual Blessing of the Bikes is planned from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at the Cross of Peace on Bald Knob Mountain near Alto Pass.

Organizers shared that Blessing of the Bikes is one of the largest motorcycle events in the Midwest. The event is coordinated by the Christian Motorcyclists Association and is a longstanding Southern Illinois tradition.

Blessing of the Bikes is one of the biggest annual events held at Bald Knob Cross and is a signature event for bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts across the Midwest.

Bless Fest

Also on Sunday, May 17, Bless Fest is planned from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Alto Pass. Bless Fest is sponsored by Black Diamond Harley-Davidson.

Live music with Six:32 is scheduled to start at noon. Food and beverages will be served by Havisham Bourbon Bar.
