Anna Kiwanis Club to host Easter egg hunt, fish fry
The Anna Kiwanis Club is planning to host two special events during April.
The club plans to continue a long-standing tradition of sponsoring an Easter egg hunt in Anna.
The club also is planning to serve a fish fry to help support a program at a Union County school.
Easter Egg Hunt
Beginning at 10 a.m. on April 13, kids ages toddler through 10 years of age can participate in an Easter egg hunt at the Anna City Park.
There will be four designated areas for the various age groups.
Candy and/or other prizes will be hidden inside every egg.
Fish Fry
Following the Easter egg hunt at 4 p.m., a fish fry is planned at the Kiwanis building at the Anna City Park. Serving continues until 7 p.m.
The fish fry will help to support Anna-Jonesboro Community High School band and choir students.
Eat in or carry out orders will be available. The menu will include fried fish, slaw, fries, baked beans and a drink.
