Anna Arts Center planning three events

The Shawnee Hills Arts Council’s Anna Arts Center is planning to present three special events in the coming weeks. The arts center is located at 125 W. Davie St. in Anna.


The arts center plans to present Monty Python’s “Spamalot.”

Performances are set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 20 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 21. The production is directed by Cody Acklin.

Tickets will be available at the door. Prices are $15; $5 for those 12 years old and under.

Haunted House of Horrors

The arts center plans to present a Haunted House of Horrors on Oct. 19, 20, 26, 27 and 31 (Halloween).  Hours will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Admission will be $5 per person, or $20 for groups of five.

All proceeds will be split between the arts center and the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School Theater Boosters.

Celebration of Freedom: Salute to Veterans

A Celebration of Freedom: Salute to Veterans is planned Nov. 5. The event begins at 6 p.m. and includes dinner and entertainment.

The celebration will be free for veterans and active duty military personnel. All others are asked to donate $10.
