Mildred H. McRaven

Mildred H. McRaven, 91, of Anna, died at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on Nov. 17, 1921, in McClure, the daughter of Jess and Lula Rhymer.

She married Mac McRaven on July 27, 1941, in Jackson, Mo. They were married for over 55 years. Mac preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1996.

She was a member of the Gospel Kingdom Church in Anna.

She is survived by two sons, Doyle McRaven and Glen McRaven, both of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Bob Meirindorf, Joey (Martha) McRaven, Sherri (Russell) Hileman, Cindy Cain and Peter McRaven; six great-grandchildren, Josh Hileman, Amy Glasco, Ashley Taylor, Alex McRaven, Brach Benefield and Brett Benefield; eight great-great-grandchildren, Brad, Eli, Emma, Jayden, Caroline, Drake, Leigha and Issac, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Wayne McRaven; five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. McRaven were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
