<p class="p1">Michael A. McNeely, 63, of Anna, died at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.</p><p class="p1">He was born on May 2, 1952, in Carbondale, the son of Earl Chester and Betty Lou Yates McNeely.</p><p class="p1">He married Janie Holden.</p><p class="p1">He worked as an engineer in Dallas, Texas, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an artist, enjoyed the great outdoors and liked to work with computers.</p><p class="p1">He is survived by his mother, Betty Lou McNeely of Anna; a sister, Martha (Darrell) Crimmins of Carrollton, Texas; brother, Jeff (Suki) McNeely of Osan Air Base, Korea; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.</p><p class="p1">He was preceded in death by his father, Earl, and his wife, Janie McNeely.</p><p class="p1">As per the family's wishes, there will be no services.</p><p class="p1">Private inurnment will be in the Egyptian Memorial Gardens at a later date.</p><p class="p1">Memorials can be made to Illinois Veterans Home in Anna.</p><p class="p1">Crain Funeral Home Egyptian Chapel in Energy is in charge of arrangements.</p><p class="p1">To leave online condolences, visit www.crainsonline.com.</p>
