Meet the Saints Night slated at Shawnee

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Shawnee Community College Saints and Lady Saints basketball teams will be showcased at the first Meet the Saints night, which is planned Tuesday evening, Oct. 27.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Meet the Saints is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Shawnee Community College’s main campus near Ullin. The night kicks off with a Saints Read pep rally in the K atrium.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Face tattoos, free popcorn and decorating of the Coaches Corner are planned starting at 5:30 p.m.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Fans will have a chance to talk with the players. An autograph session and photos are planned.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The players will be introduced and a dunk contest is planned. The men’s and women’s teams each will play inter-squad scrimmages.</span></p>
