Margaret Malone

<p class="p1">Margaret Malone, 97, of Villa Ridge, died at 6:07 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.</p><p class="p1">She was born on June 4, 1918, in Sandusky, the daughter of George and Ella Siers Alexander.</p><p class="p1">She married Marion "Bud" Malone. He preceded her in death in 1996.</p><p class="p1">She was a homemaker. She and Bud attended Villa Ridge Union Church.</p><p class="p1">She is surivived by her sons, Gerald (Emma) Malone of Villa Ridge and Gary (Beverly) Malone of Sebastian, Florida; a daughter, Debbie (Billy) Heilig of Villa Ridge; grandchildren Patti (Joey) Dunning, David (Sherrie) Malone and Vickie Morris; great-grandchildren Jason, Chad, Curtis, Melanie, Emily, Jenna, Laura, Tayler, Christian, Makayla and Aryn; great-great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kamden, Noah, Conner, Rosie Jo, Alli and Ian; nieces, nephews and other relatives.</p><p class="p1">She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Malone; a daughter, Marian "Rosie" Sheffer; her parents; four brothers, George "Dottie" Alexander, Gene Alexander, Joe Alexander and Bill Alexander.</p><p class="p1">Graveside services were at 6 p.m. Friday, July 31, at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Joey Dunning officiating.</p><p class="p1">Memorials can be made to Smiles in Mounds and can be mailed to Crain Funeral Home, P.O.
