<p class="p1">Lucille Willis Miller, 87, of Olive Branch, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.</p><p class="p1">She was born on March 14, 1928, in Miller City, the daughter of Roy Arnold and Georgia Ersa Morningstar Willis.</p><p class="p1">She was married on Oct. 5, 1947, to Lloyd "Jack" Miller. He preceded her in death April 13, 2013.</p><p class="p1">She attended Tamms High School and then graduated from Olive Branch High School in the class of 1946. After graduation from high school she started working at First Bank and Trust Company in Cairo.</p><p class="p1">After her marriage to Jack, they moved to East Moline, where they resided for 43 years. While in East Moline, she worked for 20 years as receptionist/manager for an anesthesia group, retiring in 1985.</p><p class="p1">She and Jack retired to a home on Horseshoe Lake in Olive Branch in 1990. She was a member of the Olive Branch United Methodist Church.</p><p class="p1">Survivors include grandchildren Rebecca Vonderheide of Cincinnati, and William and Richard Miller, both of Myrtle Beach and many nieces and nephews.</p><p class="p1">Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Miller in 2014; one brother, Allen Willis; and two sisters, Freida Dowdy and Verta Lee Oller.</p><p class="p1">Visitation for Lucille Miller was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.</p><p class="p1">Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Olive Branch United Methodist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Brent Gordon, officiating.
