Lisa Cheryl Lynn Kerley

Lisa Cheryl Lynn Kerley, 46, of Johnston City, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at 4:08 p.m. at the Herrin Hospital in Herrin.

She was born Nov. 25, 1965 in Sikeston, Mo. She was the daughter of Freddie Gene Akridge and Geraldine Dianna (Magee) Akridge.

Survivors include her father, Freddie Gene Akridge of Catron, Mo.; her mother,  Geraldine Dianna Magee of Anna; two daughters, Desiree and Chris Covey of Grantsburg, and Ashley Bowling and Kip Wilson of Simpson; a son, Jared Bowling of Cobden; three grandchildren, Kaylee and Kenzy Covey and Dawson Wilson; three sisters, Michelle and Glenn Cook of Goreville, Sonia Rhymer of Anna and Kimberley and Jeff Hickam of Jonesboro; a niece, Cheyenne Cook; four nephews, Robert Gooden, Mathew Gooden, Will Cook and Brandon Rhymer and a special friend, Roy Lynn Kerley of Vienna.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elish and Bunav Magee and Herchel and Katherine Akridge.

She was an in-home caregiver.

She liked going fishing and riding motorcycles.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Frank Forthman will officiate.

Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
