Kenneth Wayne Frick

         Mr. Kenneth Wayne Frick, age 90 of Jonesboro, died at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, November 10, 2013 in the Illinois Veteran’s Home in Anna. He was born July 18, 1923 in Jonesboro, the son of Dan and Doris Ferrell Frick. He married Irma Jean Myers on January 19, 1947 in Osceola, Arkansas.

         Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Irma Frick of Jonesboro; one son, Kenneth W. Jr. (Nicole) Frick of Anna; four daughters, Linda (David) Parks of Jonesboro, Karen (Larry) Martin of Evansville, IN, Rebecca (Bruce) Trammel of Noblesville, IN, Kimberly (Dan) Brames of Franklin, TN; twelve grandchildren, Maria Bridgeman, John Parks, Rebekah Plott, Michael Martin, Michelle Willis, Adam Trammel, Michael Trammel, Alexandra Frick, Aiden Frick, Andersyn Frick, Megan DeVries, Annie Brames; seventeen, great grandchildren; four sisters, Jean Graham of Anna, Martha Wiley of Peoria, , Pat (Maurie) Farris of Morton, Sue (Don) Choate of Jonesboro; one sister in law, Shirley Frick of Creve Coeur; one brother in law, Orval Vancil of Cape Girardeau, MO; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Herman, Bon and Don Frick; five sisters, Pauline Bittle, Vivian Ellis, Anita Bittle, Janis Appel and Marilyn Vancil.

Kenneth was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Anna. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II as a Surgical Technician in the 133<sup>rd</sup> Evacuation Hospital, European Theater.

         Kenneth worked a carpenter in Union County. He and his wife owned and operated K & I Sporting Goods in Jonesboro for many years and was an avid gardener.

         Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Frick will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Bob Dover and Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veteran’s Home in Anna, First Baptist Church in Anna or T.I.P. Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
