Kenneth W. Miller
Kenneth W. Miller, 62, of Dongola, and formerly of Ullin, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston, Mo.
Mr. Miller was born on Oct. 16, 1946, in Cairo, the son of Bernoid and Betty Albright Miller.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver and was a security guard at a state prison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a son, Jason Miller.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Miller of Kenosha, Wis., and Tim Miller of Anna; a half-sister, Kendra Anderson of Beaumont, Calif.; his stepmother, Virginia Miller of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and a granddaughter, Brandy Miller.
Graveside funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, at St. John’s Cemetery in rural Dongola with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery with full military honors by Illinois Army National Guard’s honors detail and local veterans.
Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
