<p class="p1">Karla Kay Reynolds, 66, of Spring Hill, Tennessee, died on June 21, 2015.</p><p class="p1">She was born in Anna, the daughter of Karl Oliver and Edith Oliver.</p><p class="p1">She was employed by Presley Tours of Makanda, where she was Wayman Presley's personal assistant, as well as a tour specialist traveling abroad.</p><p class="p1">She was then employed with Maritz LLC in Fenton, Missouri, for many years where she worked diligently to become vice president of client relations; she then relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she worked for Willow CSN.</p><p class="p1">Her first love was serving others. After she left the corporate arena she moved with her husband Jack from Cooper City, Florida, to Spring Hill, Tennessee, where she volunteered as a FLIP reading tutor for several years at Heritage Elementary School. There she earned the coveted glass apple award for volunteer of the year. To her students and neighbors she was known as Ms. Karla.</p><p class="p1">She was married to her husband Jack for over 35 years. Together they set off on the adventure of a lifetime to adopt their daughter Lincy from India 32 years ago.</p><p class="p1">She liked working in the yard and watching her beautiful flowers.</p><p class="p1">Her family said she could make friends waiting in the checkout line of a grocery store by simply striking up a conversation.</p><p class="p1">She was preceded in death by her infant son Jamie; her maternal grandparents, Calvin and Bessie Keller; maternal aunt Wanda and husband Lloyd Fuller; cousins Myron and Ray Fuller; her stepfather, Roy "Red" Tompkins and her father-in-law, Jack H. Reynolds Sr.; and her paternal grandparents, Monta and Herb Oliver.</p><p class="p1">Survivors include her husband, Jack H. Reynolds Jr.; daughter Lincy; mother Edith Tompkins; brother Kevin Tompkins; sister Monta Olive Hymes; mother-in-law Ruth Reynolds; sister-in-law Susan Bryan; brother-in-law Ronald Bryan; and many other relatives and friends. She had a dog, Ralph.</p><p class="p1">She accepted Christ and was baptized at Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola. She lived her faith throughout life.</p><p class="p1">Her family is planning a Celebration of Life for this coming fall. Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis,Tennessee, or the Sarah Cannon Research Institute in Nashville, Tennessee.</p>
