Karen Little Bracken

Karen Little Bracken, 61, of Cairo, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at the home of her brother in Mounds.

She was born on July 19, 1948, in Red Bud, the daughter of Louis and Verda Mae Thompson Wild.

She married Darrell Bracken.

She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Cairo.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Bracken of Cairo; one daughter, Nancy (Steve) Powell of Mound City; one son, William Little of Cairo; three grandchildren, Latayvia Little of Cairo, Riley and Steven Powell of Mound City; three brothers, Richard (Elaine) Wild of Mounds, Harry Wild of Cairo, and Kenneth Wild of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Shirley Wild Hill of Herrin and Patricia Wild Rundles of Cairo; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Wild Arnold.
