Jonesboro team to play for first at state

<p class="p1">The Jonesboro Lady Bulldogs basketball team will be playing for first place at the SIJHSAA state tournament in the Class M division. The game is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Rend Lake College at Ina.</p><p class="p1">Last year, the Bulldogs went to state and placed fourth, but this year marks the first year in the Jonesboro School’s history that the Lady Bulldogs will play in the championship game. The Lady Bulldogs are heading into the state title game with a 23-1 record. Fans are being encouraged to come and support the Lady Bulldogs.
