Jonesboro Bulldogs win regional championship

<p class="p1">The Jonesboro Lady Bulldogs basketball team won a Region 1 championship with a 48-19 victory over Egyptian. With the win, Jonesboro advanced to state tournament play. Jonesboro is scheduled to play in the state tournament at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, at Rend Lake College at Ina. The Lady Bulldogs are coached by Beth Miller and Nattie Hepburn.</p><p class="p2"> </p><p class="p2"> </p>
