John William “Bill” Navin
<p class="MsoNormal">John William “Bill” Navin, 86, passed away at : am on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.<span style=""> </span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> </span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="">He was born on November 12, 1925 in Wolf Lake, IL, the son of John Andrew and Anna Catherine (Boyce) Navin.<span style=""> </span></span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style=""> </span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="">He married Wanda Lou Lambert on June 26, 1949 in Piggot, Arkansas.<span style=""> </span> She passed away May 10, 2011.<span style=""> </span></span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style=""> </span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="">Bill served his country in the U.S. Air Corp from 1944 to 1946.<span style=""> </span> He worked at Anna Dry Cleaners and St. Charles Manufacturing until his retirement on February 28, 1991. He was a member of the American Legion.<span style=""> </span> <span style=""> </span></span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style=""> </span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="">In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Randy Lynn and Vicki Navin of Litchfield; a daughter, Lynda Janice Navin of Olney; a grandson, Randy Lynn Navin, Jr.;</span> <span style="font-size: 11pt;">three great grandchildren, Shelton, Nolan and Garrett Navin;</span> <span style="">a brother and sister-in-law, Lynn D. and Sunghi Navin of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Jim McLean of Margate, FL and his nieces and nephews.</span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style=""> </span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="">He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, John Andrew Navin II and one brother, Charles W. Navin.<span style=""> </span></span>
<p style="text-align: justify;" class="MsoNormal"><span style=""> </span>
<p class="MsoNormal">Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
