Jennifer A. Larsen

<p class="p1">Jennifer A. Larsen, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, while attending a wedding at the Frank Lloyd Wright Emil Bach House in Chicago. She was 42 years old.</p><p class="p1">She is survived by her lifelong soulmate of 18 years Kenneth Kinzler of Chicago and their daughter, Lily, 6; her sister, Susan (Stacey) Ramsey of Jonesboro; her two brothers, Greg (Tammy) Larsen of Tacoma, Washington and Erik Larsen of Anna; her parents, Lars and Carole Larsen of Anna; many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, along with a diverse group of friends. She had a dog, Wrigley.</p><p class="p1">She was preceded in death by her biological father, Errol Saugstad.</p><p class="p1">She was born in Arlington Heights. She graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School in 1991 and attended Columbia College in Chicago. She was co-owner of K2MODERN LLC, a Chicago-based online retailer specializing in vintage mid-century and Danish modern furniture and accessories.</p><p class="p1">She was very active in her daughter Lily's school, the LaSalle Language Academy of Chicago in Old Town, along with St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Bucktown.</p><p class="p1">She was a chef, avid foodie, wine connoisseur and intrepid traveler; a bon vivant that thrived on exhilarating new experiences and adventures. She was always willing to lend a helping hand or attentive ear to anyone in distress or needing support.</p><p class="p1">Funeral services were at Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home in Joliet, on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m.</p><p class="p1">Memorials can be made to her daughter Lily's education fund.</p><p class="p1">For information visit www.CHSFUNERAL.com.</p>
