Jeffery Ray Farris Highfield

Jeffery Ray Farris Highfield of LaPorte, Texas, and formerly of Cobden, died Saturday, April 10, 2010, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 20, 1980, the son of Paula Holderfield and Carroll Ray Farris.

He lived with his aunt Earlene and uncle Ray Highfield in Texas.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Brian and Steve Myers of Cobden and Travis Farris of Anna; his maternal grandparents, Ted and Joann Holderfield of Cobden and Dorthy Holderfield of Herrin; aunts Carolyn Nunn of Anna and Angie Lewis of Herrin, Donna Holderfield and Jeffery Holderfield of Herrin, Connie (Douthit) Farris of Granite City and David Farris of Cobden.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents John and Velma Farris, paternal grandparents Edith (George) Farris and Tony Farris, maternal grandparent Paul Holderfield, and great-grandparents Ray and Bert Holderfield.

Funeral services were Thursday, April 15, at Life Community Church in LaPorte, Texas.

Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in DeRidder, La.
