Jack-n-Jill golf scramble played at Anna course

<p class="p1">Paul Verchuren and Sabrina Wheatley finished in first place in the Jack-n-Jill Scramble with a score of 123 at the Union County Country Club golf course in Anna, Sunday, Aug. 9.</p><p class="p1">Second place tie with 125 went to the teams of Sil and Vicky Gentry and Matt Reynolds and Cindy Corn. Fourth place was won by Dan Smith and Sherri Simmons with 126.</p><p class="p1">In B Flight, Judy and Don Horrel won first with 135. Roger and Kim Nash were second with 136, followed by Gary and Debby Mayer with 137 and Mike and JoAnn Galloway with 138.</p><p class="p1">C Flight winners were determined by a  scorecard playoff. The top three teams each finished with 145 and were Brenda and Chris Whitaker, Rocky and Julie Ridgeway and Carolyn and Tom Tripp. Jake and Lisa Carter finished fourth with 146.</p><p class="p1">D Flight winners were Donnie and Shirley Ray with 151, followed by Jason Short and Paula Bierstedt with 154, Mike Skepter and Jen Mizell with 157 and Steve and Jann Taylor with 158.</p>
