A-J wrestling squad third at Lawrenceville

<p class="p1">The Anna-Jonesboro Community High School wrestling team finished in third place in the Lawrenceville Tournament Saturday, Dec. 5.</p><p class="p1">First-place efforts for the Wildcats were recorded by Aiden Frick at 106 pounds and Jacob Albert at 170 pounds.</p><p class="p1">Third-place efforts for A-J were posted by Clayton Ramage at 113 pounds, Catie Mays at 120 pounds and Nick Jimenez at 285 pounds.</p><p class="p1">Fourth-place finishes for the Wildcats were recorded by Nate Kisat at 126 pounds, Trenton Turner at 195 pounds and Shad Turner at 220 pounds.</p><p class="p1">Fifth-place finishers for A-J were Bryce Massey at 132 pounds and Dylan Fox at 138 pounds.</p><p class="p1">A sixth-place finisher for the Wildcats was C.J. Youngerman at 145 pounds.</p><p class="p1">The Wildcats opened their season at home against Benton and Carterville Wednesday, Dec. 2.</p><p class="p1">A-J lost 38-36 to Benton and 42-40 to Carterville.</p>
