A-J rolls past West Frankfort

J.R. Woodward scored 24 points to power Anna-Jonesboro to a 64-37 win over visiting West Frankfort in high school boys’ basketball Tuesday, Feb. 9.
It was Senior Night and the final regular season home game for the Wildcats.
Brady Wright added 15 points. Jordan Adams, who made three 3-pointers, finished with 13 points. Tylor Duckworth and Cody Livesay added 4 points apiece, Jesse Webb 3 and Gabe Pecord 1.
The Wildcats took over in the second quarter after leading 12-10 after the opening period. a-J led 34-16 at the half and 56-32 after three periods.
A-J improved to 15-11 overall.
