A-J girls’ soccer 2-2 in recent play

<p class="p1">The Anna-Jonesboro High School girls soccer team posted a 2-2 record in recent action.</p><p class="p1"><strong>Marion 4, A-J 0:</strong> Goalie Chelsea Reinier had 21 saves in the loss to host Marion Monday, April 25.</p><p class="p1"><strong>A-J 3, Mount Vernon 1:</strong> Emma Butterfield/Kocher scored two goals to lead the visiting Lady Wildcats to the win Saturday, April 23.</p><p class="p1">Elle Basler added the other goal. Basler had two assists and Butterfield/Kocher one.</p><p class="p1">Reinier had four saves in the match.</p><p class="p1"><strong>A-J 10, Massac County 0</strong>: Basler scored three goals to lead visiting A-J to the win Monday, April 20.</p><p class="p1">Lexi Smith, Jaycee Pender and Lexa Sharp had two goals apiece. Reinier added one goal.</p><p class="p1"><strong>Carbondale 6, A-J 1:</strong> Basler had the lone goal in the loss for the visiting Lady Wildcats Friday, April 17.</p><p class="p1">Reinier recorded 26 saves.</p>
