The Anna-Jonesboro Community High School girls’ soccer team went 1-1 in recent action.
Saxony 5, A-J 2: A-J was defeated 5-2 Monday, April 8, by visiting Saxony Lutheran of Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Hannah Schlenker and Katie Whiteside each scored a goal to lead the Lady Wildcats. Kati McIntyre added an assist.
Katie Grant played 80 minutes in goal and had 12 saves.
Cape Central 0, A-J 3: Timbre Craig, Kim Mixen and Courtney Kendrik each scored a goal to lead host Anna-Jonesboro to a 3-0 win over visiting Cape Central High School of Cape Girardeau Thursday, April 4.
Mixen added an assist for the Lady Wildcats. Katie Grant played 80 minutes in goal and had 4 saves.
