A-J football players earn postseason honors

The Anna-Jonesboro Community High School football team had six players selected to the 2012 Southern Illnois River-to-River Mississippi Division All-Conference team.
Junior Damien Reed and senior Logan Tripp were both selected to the offensive and defensive all-conference teams.
Reed was a running back on offense and a linebacker on defense. Tripp was a lineman on both offense and defense.
Seniors Alex McRaven and Seth Heern were also selected to both the offensive and defensive all-conference teams.
McRaven was a wide receiver/defensive back and Heern was a tight end/linebacker.
Other A-J second-team selections were senior running back Austin Noble and sophomore defensive end Zane DeWitt.
