A-J’s Little sets school record in hurdles event
Anna-Jonesboro High School’s Kaylee Little broke the school record in the 300-meter hurdles with a 49.01 finish in the Southern Illinois River-to-River Conference Mississippi Division girls’ track meet at Chester Thursday, May 7.
Little broke the school mark of 49.07 in the 300-meter hurdles, which was held by Jenny Vincent.
Little also captured first place in the 100-meter hurdles with a 16.95.
A-J’s Leslie Donna finished in first place in the 800-meter run in 2:32.16.

The 4x400 meter relay team of Elizabeth Bell, Donna, Whitney Beanland and Little in 4:22.50
The 4x800 meter relay team of Bell, Donna, Lauren Goins and Beanland in 10:24.31.
Emma Basler in both the long jump with 15-9 and the 100-meter dash in 14.08.
Third place efforts for A-J were recorded by:
Little in the triple jump with 31-8. Jessi Stone in both the discus with 93-4 and shot put 32-2.
The 4x100 meter relay team of Brooke Cerny, Gabrielle Harris, Cayla Lingle and Destiny Dillow finished in sixth place in 1:01.40
