A-J’s DeWitt, Fuller earn postseason honors

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Anna-Jonesboro’s Zane DeWitt and Noah Fuller were each named to the 2014 Southern Illinois Coaches Association All-South high school football team.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">DeWitt, a senior quarterback, rushed for 702 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. He passed for 1,073 yards with 11 TDs. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">He also had 147 receiving yards and scored a TD. He was 4 -of-7 on points after touchdowns and had a 50.8 average on kickoffs. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">He was the second leading tackler on the defensive team with 62 tackles and blocked two punts, scoring a TD on one. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">He was a first-team Southern Illinois River-to-River all-conference selection at large and at tight end this season. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Last year, he was a first-team all-conference selection at tight end and an at large selection on defense.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Fuller, a senior, was a wide receiver who caught 34 passes for 635 yards and eight TDs. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">He was an all-conference selection at wide receiver this year and last year as well as an All-South selection last year.</span></p>
