Hazel Jo McCullough

Hazel Jo McCullough, 67, of Carbondale, and formerly of Anna, died at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009, at Oak Grove Rehab and Care Center in Carbondale.

She was born on May 17, 1941, in Anna, the daughter of Howard W. and Mary J. Cassel Corzine.

She is survived by three children, Tina and husband Robert DuBois of Ware, Kelly and husband Chuck Johnson of Dongola, and Julie Bellinger of Pekin; two brothers, Lonnie Corzine of Dongola and Scott Lingle of Maine; one sister, Marietta Elrich of Peoria; six grandchildren, Jimmy and wife Brandie Watkins, Wesley and wife Crystal Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Cody Schillinger, Jarrod Schillinger and Kiley Null; three great-grandchildren, Chevy Watkins, Cooper Johnson and Maggie Johnson; other relatives and many friends.

She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

According to her wishes, her body was cremated. Private graveside services for Mrs. McCullough will be at a later date at the Big Creek Cemetery.

Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of arrangements.
