Hayden earns all-conference softball honors

Shawnee Community College’s Jenny Hayden has earned 2009 Mid-West Athletic Conference all-conference softball honors.

Hayden received honorable mention recognition.

Hayden played third base and hit .375 for a Shawnee squad which finished 24-17 this season.

She plans to study physical therapy next year at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Hayden is a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School.
