Gina ‘Janie’ Miller

Gina “Janie” Miller, 49, of Dongola, died on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born in Dexter, Mo., on June 8, 1963, the daughter of John and Joyce Ann Monan Poynor. They preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Kaitlyn Miller and Cathrine Poynor, both of Dongola; two sons, Jeremiah Johnson of Dongola and Tyler Johnson of Anna; her significant other, Eddie Miller of Tamms; one sister, Kelley Poynor (Chris Devore) of Salmon, Idaho; three brothers, Brian Conley (Shirley) of Thayer, Mo., Rick Conley of Wickliffe, Ky., and Jon Poynor (Leonda Miller) of Wickliffe, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers, Charles Conley and Michael Todd Conley.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the First Baptist Church in Dongola, with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating.

Memorials can be made to the Janie Miller Fund at First State Bank of Dongola.

Crain Funeral Home in Dongola was in charge of arrangements.
