Frances Hubbard Kirkpatrick McFadden
Frances Hubbard Kirkpatrick McFadden died on Oct. 15, 2013, at her home in Denver, Colo. She was born on Oct. 23, 1920.
She married Bruce McFadden on Sept. 22, 1947, in Anna.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; a grandson, Lee Cline; and a granddaughter, Freedom Thompson.
She was the great-granddaughter of Cornwall E. Kirkpatrick, who, along with his brother, Wallace, founded the Anna Pottery in 1859. She was a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School and Hanover College.
Survivors include five children, Margaret Hawker (David) of Lincoln City, Ore., Harriet McFadden (Charles Lovell) of Phoenix, Ariz., Frances Cline (Mike) of Dacula, Ga., Kirk McFadden (Patricia) of Arriba, Colo., and Bruce McFadden of Denver, Colo.
She also is survived by eight grandchildren, Cynthia Ciancio of Denver, Colo., Jason French of Keenesburg, Colo., Hilary Hawker of Denver, Colo., Danielle Cline of Dacula, Ga., Hannah Sawitsky of Breckenridge, Colo., Michael Thompson, TJ Thompson and Jesse Thompson of Boulder, Colo.
A wake is planned from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Park North Townhouse Clubhouse at 8721 Santa Fe Dr. in Denver, Colo. Details are available at dahawker@earthlink.net.
