Football breakfast tradition continues

As the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School football team gears up for the start of a new season this week, a tradition is scheduled to continue as a show of support for the squad.

Once again this year, local churches plan to serve game-day breakfasts to the team, its coaches and the A-JCHS cheerleaders.

The schedule of churches serving the breakfasts follows:

Aug. 28, Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna.

Sept. 4, Anna Nazarene Church in Anna.

Sept. 11, First Baptist Church in Anna.

Sept. 18, First Christian Church in Anna.

Sept. 25, First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Anna.

Oct. 2, Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna.

Oct. 9, First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Oct. 16, United Methodist Church in Anna.

Oct. 23, Clear Creek Baptist Association building in Anna.
