Flossie Leonard

Flossie Leonard, 86, of Anna, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015 in Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born Feb. 19, 1929 in Macon County, Tennessee, the daughter of Sam and Rose (Presley) Coulter. She married Carl J. Leonard on Feb. 7, 1956 in Union County. He preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 2010.

She is survived by her three daughters, Alice (Lloyd) McCann of Anna, Brenda (Kim) Albers of Dongola, Mary (Mike) Olson of West Frankfort; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl J. Leonard; daughter, Patty Roach; great-grandson, Dakota Pendley; five brothers and one sister.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Paul Tirey officiating. Interment was in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Missionary Baptist Church in Lick Creek. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
