Fire Youth Soccer sets registration

Fire Youth Soccer Association registration for the spring season is planned during January in Anna.

The Fire Youth Soccer Association is a new IYSA affiliated league. The league works to teach children soccer fundamentals, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Registration dates and times include:

Saturday, Jan. 14, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 17, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 21, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 24, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Registration will take place in the second-floor conference room at Union County Hospital in Anna.

The registration fee is $75. Parents are asked to bring a copy of their child’s birth certificate to registration.

The league will be offering teams in the 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade age groups.
