Fans invited to join salute to Cobden baseball team

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Area sports fans are invited to join a salute to the 2015 Illinois High School Association Class 1A state champion Cobden Appleknocker baseball team.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The team will be honored at an upcoming Southern Illinois Miners game.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Appleknockers will be recognized when the Miners host the Gateway Grizzlies in a minor league baseball game on Wednesday, July 22.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Rent One Park in Marion.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Cobden baseball team will be recognized on the field before the start of the game.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Tickets for the game are $8.
