Elaine Hileman, 70, of Tunnel Hill, died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 in Hillview Healthcare Center in Vienna. She was born Jan. 24, 1945 in Cairo, the daughter of Clifford and Eulah (Farris) Sitton. She married Jessie L. Hileman on July 6, 1963 in Elgin.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jess L. Hileman of Tunnel Hill; two daughters, Valerie (James IV) Prichett of Palmer, Alaska, Angela (Pat) McKibben of Vienna; one son, James (Amy) Hileman of Morrison, Colorado; ten grandchildren, Luke Hileman, Jack Hileman, Stephanie Seo, Austin McCarthy, Ahmed Al-Rajab, Noah Al-Rajab, Cody McKibben, Samantha McKibben, Paige McKibben, Haley McKibben; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Seo, Ashlan McKibben and one on the way; one brother, Rodney (Betsy) Sitton of Jonesboro; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Carolyn Cook and Marilee Lingle.
She was a member of the New Vision Church in Ozark, Illinois. She loved gardening and volunteering at the nursing home.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Bud McDannel officiating. Interment was in the St. John's Cemetery in Dongola. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassion International or New Vision Church in Ozark, Illinois. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
