Edwin V. Delmastro

Edwin V. Delmastro, 74, of Cobden, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 in the Union County Hospital Long Term Care Center in Anna. He was born April 7, 1941 in Elmhurst, the son of Domnick and Edna Downing Delmastro.

He is survived by his daughter, Gina (Curtis) Baird of Carbondale; two grandchildren, Corbin and Riley Baird; one sister, Jean Burton of Hampton, Virginia; other relatives and many friends.

He was retired from Southern Illinois University after many years as an instructor. 

A private family ceremony will be held. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Cobden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Andrew School in Murphysboro. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
