Edith L. Nance

Edith L. Nance, 89, of Jackson, Mo., and formerly of Anna, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1923, in Union County, the daughter of Logan and Edith Wilson Blaylock.

She married William Nance on April 10, 1954. He preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1987.

She retired from Thorngate Manufacturing in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and six brothers.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro. Interment was at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.
