Donald ‘Jack’ Hileman

Donald “Jack” Hileman, 75, of Anna, died at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009, at his home in Anna.

He was born on May 10, 1934, in Jonesboro, the son of Bernice Hileman.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He worked many years as a welder in the construction industry.

He married Dorothy Weeks on July 5, 1963, in Anna. He was a member of the VFW post.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Anna; one son, Bart and wife Amy Hileman of Jonesboro; two grandsons, Dusty and wife Heather Hileman of Anna and Jordan Palmer of Jonesboro; one granddaughter, Amanda and husband Logan Smith of Anna; one great-granddaughter, Audrey Hileman; one aunt, Martha Dillow; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 20, at 1 p.m. at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Paul Tirey officiating. Interment was in the Anna Cemetery. 

Military rites were conducted by the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post No. 3455 of Anna.
