<p class="p1">Delbert Leroy Miller, 83, of Roswell, New Mexico, and formerly of Olmsted, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at Sierra Vista Hospital in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.</p><p class="p1">He was born on Sept. 10, 1932, in Olmsted, the son of Roy and Renia Richard Miller.</p><p class="p1">He married Marilyn Sue Bradley on July 7, 1955. She preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 2002.</p><p class="p1">He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and became a corporal before his honorable discharge in 1954.</p><p class="p1">He enjoyed a long and rewarding career in the computer industry, starting first with IBM and later forming his own company based in Northern California.</p><p class="p1">Survivors include two children, Melissa (Marck) Calisher of Modesto, California, and Gregory K. (Alice) Miller of St. Charles; one sister, Gloria Jean Miller of Pontiac, Michigan; four grandchildren, Thomas, Alexander and Jessica Calisher of Modesto, California, and Gregory D. Miller of St. Charles; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.</p><p class="p1">He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Miller; his parents; two sisters, Alice and Rosalie Miller.</p><p class="p1">A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin with the Rev. John Warren officiating. Inurnment followed at St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
