Clifton Warren Bennett

Clifton Warren Bennett, age 62 of Dongola, died Tuesday, September, 25, 2012 at 10:00AM  at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion.

He was born September 19, 1950 to Andrew and Betty (Johns) Bennett in Anna.

Clifton served in the United State Marine Corps.  He enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Jessica (Adam Rendleman) Bennett of Baldwell, KY, Elizabeth (Keith) Hartline of Dongola, and Latasha Bennett (Damien) Kerr of Anna; 8 grandchildren; sister, Andrea Bennett of Murphysboro; close friends, Tracy and Suzy King of Dongola and brother, Larry McNelly of Tamms.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Pat Bennett and 2 nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 11:00-1:00PM at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Friday, September 28, 2012 at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro with Pastor Lynn Releford officiating. Interment will follow at Kelley Cemetery.
