Clifton Eugene "Butch" Miller

Clifton Eugene “Butch” Miller, 58, of Olive Branch died at 2:30 p.m., Monday July 27, 2009, in Charleston, MO.

He was born on February 16, 1951, in Cairo, IL to Clifton and Lela Mae (Cohen) Miller.  He married Ruthie Anderson on July 2, 1971. She survives him.

Clifton was a member of the Crusaders of Christ Church in Mounds.  He worked  in transportation as a truck driver. 

Clifton is survived by his wife, Ruthie of Olive Branch;

a son, Garrett (Brandy) Miller of  Charleston, MO;

a daughter, Sabrina(Archie) Busby of Cache, Ill;

two granddaughters, Morgan Busby of Cache Ill and Jazmyne Miller of Charleston, Mo.;

his parents, Clifton and Lela Miller of Olive Branch;

a sister, Doris Sims of Elco.;

a brother, Eddie Miller of  Elco.

nieces, nephews and other relatives;

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Miller and one grandson Karl Eugene Miller.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the funeral hour, Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Crusaders of Christ Church in Mounds.  Memorial  services for Clifton Eugene “Butch”  Miller  will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 30 2009, at the Crusaders of Christ Church  in Mounds with  Dennis Clark officiating. Private interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery with the Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating at a later date. 

Memorials may be made to the Lake Milligan Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church.
