Claude L. Tucker

    Claude L. Tucker,  90 of Buncombe, died at 2:53 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at the Hillview Healthcare Center in Vienna.  He was born on March 23, 1919, the son of Posie and Cora (Brown) Tucker.  Claude married Tressie A. Davis on March 18, 1940, in Jackson, MO and she preceded him in death on May 26, 1981. 

    Survivors include three sons, Jim Tucker of Buncombe, Victor Tucker of Buncombe, Bob Tucker of Ruskin, FL; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five sisters, his twin Maude, Ruth, Marie, Alta and Faye.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Harry, Louie, Oliver and a sister, Mary.

    Funeral services for Claude will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating.  Interment will be at the Camp Ground Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, July 17, 2009, from 5 until 8 pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Camp Ground Cemetery or TIP Hospice and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
