<p class="p1">Charles Joseph Brasel, 81, died, with family by his side, on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, in Fort Worth, Texas.</p><p class="p1">He was laid to rest on Friday, Oct. 9, at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.</p><p class="p1">He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ruby Brasel.</p><p class="p1">He was a barber for many years. He owned a barber shop in DeSoto, until he moved from Carbondale to Fort Worth, Texas in 1970.</p><p class="p1">He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1971 and 1972. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Euless.</p><p class="p1">He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frieda Lenora Brasel; daughters Cheryl McNiel and her husband Don, and Carol Sutanto and her husband Iwan; grandchildren Christine Ann Sanders and her husband Thomas, Jeffery Don McNiel and his wife Bonnie, John Michael McNiel and his wife Jennifer, Andrea Ritchey and her husband Daniel, and Aaron Sutanto and his wife Keilah; great-grandchildren Ailish, Brenna, Conlan, Mason, Morgan, Landon, Gavin, Kaemon, Allison, Lauren, Ian, Maya, Payton, Noah, Hallie, Tristen, Brandon, Tyler and Kim.</p>
