Charles F. Penrod died on Feb. 9, 2010, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Mr. Penrod was born on July 25, 1927, in Cairo, the son of Frank R. and Nova Penrod.
He grew up in Illinois. Mr. Penrod served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a Teamster for 30 years. He drove for Lee Way for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; a son, Charles Thomas (Chuck) Penrod; sisters-in-law Karen K. Krejci, Mary Ellen Wilson and Janet Wilson; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at a later date in Illinois.
