Chamber Golf Fun Day planned May 8 in Anna

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Union County Chamber of Commerce is planning to host a Golf Fun Day on Friday, May 8.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The event will be at the Union County Country Club in Anna. Golf tees off at 1 p.m.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The yearly golf scramble features a $10,000 “hole in one contest.” </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Union County Chamber of Commerce president Greg George described the scramble as “a great event where Union County communities and chamber businesses come together and have fun.” </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The costs to take part include $60 for individuals and $240 for teams. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Hole sponsorships are $60. Mulligans and skins are $40.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Ticket prices include a fish fry which is planned at the Anna-Jonesboro Elks Lodge after the golf event.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">For more information or to obtain an entry form, contact chamber executive director Jeannie Landis at www.shawneeheartland@gmail.com.
