Carole J. Bauer, 84, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
She was born on May 16, 1939, in Dongola, the daughter of Willis and Flora Smith Russell.
She married Louis W. Bauer on Nov. 7, 1964. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2004.
