Carmelita Yting

Carmelita Yting, 64, of Jersey City, N.J., died Jan. 2, 2012, in Jersey City, N.J.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1947, in Jolo, Sulu, Philippines.

She is survived by two daughters, Luisa Vercide of Cobden and Hazelle Arreza of Gallatin, Tenn.; one son, Filemon Yting III of Jersey City, N.J.; four grandchildren, Vincent, Theresa, Matthew and Sydney; other relatives and many friends.

She worked as a registered nurse in both the New York and New Jersey areas.

Graveside services for Mrs. Yting will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cobden with Father Federico Higuera officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
