Bud Richards

<p class="p1">Bud Richards, 69, of Anna, died at 6:28 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.</p><p class="p1">He was born on Jan. 16, 1946, in Ullin, the son of Wilbur Joseph and Erma Marie Poole Richards.</p><p class="p1">He married Susie Foeste on Sept. 28, 1998.</p><p class="p1">He was retired from the ABF trucking firm. He was a loyal father to encourage Tracy with her barrel racing. Bud had a love for horses, with trail riding and camping in particular. He enjoyed raising cattle and motorcycle riding. He was a member of the Ullin First Baptist Church.</p><p class="p1">He is survived by his wife, Susie of Anna; a daughter, Tracy Rendleman (Tim Pearl) of Anna; sons Michael Richards of Anna and Brandon (Brittany) Richards of Leesville, Louisiana; stepchildren Emily (Waylon) Thompson of Advance, Missouri, William "Bill" (Terri) Duschell of Cape Girardeau and Shannon (Tom) Fornkhol of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six sisters, Deloris (Darrell) Miller of Dongola, Betty (Delano) Mowery of Anna, Shirley (Jim) Huey of Portland, Indiana, Geloria (Jack) Jerrell of Buncombe, Kathie (Garry) Trexler of Franklin, Tennessee, and Lori (Rodney) Tite of Ullin; nieces, nephews and other relatives.</p><p class="p1">He was preceded in death by his parents, and by an infant sister, Nadine Richards.</p><p class="p1">Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with the Rev. Les Sinks officiating.
