Betty Lou Miller
Mrs. Betty Lou Miller, 82 of Anna, passed away at 3:45 a.m., Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born January 18, 1927, in Chicago, the daughter of Sam and Alberta (Hickman) McGee. She married Lawrence “Buddy” Miller on October 29, 1947.
Betty is survived by three children; Ken Miller and friend Toni Cromer of St. Jacob, Sharon (Larry) Stewart of Morris, Ludena (Glenn) Mowery of Morris; a sister, Virginia (Jim) Huckleberry of Anna; eight grandchildren, Emily (Jay) Kimmey, Amy (Joe) Bobnick, Christopher Lawrence Miller, Scott (Wanda) Stewart, Laura (Tony) Swancutt, Stephanie (Deron) Heap, Brad (Nicole) Mowery, Adam (Kristie) Mowery; 16 great grandchildren; Ryan Kimmey, Kelsey & Brendan Swancutt, Kieran & Lachlan Stewart, Ethan & Rachel Heap, Mathew, Nathan, Emily, Andrew, Khaleb, Austin, Leah and Amelia Mowery, and Felicity Oster. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lawrence Miller; and one brother, Sam McGee.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Miller will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Tony Foeller officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna on Wednesday, July 15 from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour. Memorial contributions can be made to the Anna First Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
